ok, thanks. So he had his own style of cars. Wonder what a fashion designer "now a days" would do to an interior of a car...

Like the Eddie Bauer Bronco's...Explorers..., Cartier Lincolns, then I think there was Mark Cross editions in some of the 80's Chryslers, back in the day there were AMCs with Levi's upholstery. At one time it was the thing to do... but times have changed. Now all we have is a Funkmaster Flex Expedition.

    There's also the FILA T-Bird.

I'd be scared ****less to see what today's fashion designers will create.

I want a Gremlin X with a 304 V8 and a 3 speed stick, I think that was about the hottest Gremlin offering to ever roll off the assembly line.

This is the Mark V color scheme that's most commonly associated with Bill Blass.

This thread makes me want a Lincoln pretty badly. Either an early Mark, or a big body late 70's town car, or better yet a town coupe.

Bill Blass' Lincolns had a nautical type color scheme, and his signature initials had 2 "B";s (back to back) with an anchor motif with white and blue color schemes

    Town Coupes are wild.

It's just hard to imagine a car ---- that big ---- with only two doors.

    Wow.

I should've said two HEAVY doors.

Ralph Lauren would probably do tasteful car interiors ---- though even he has gotten a little guadier with the bigger polo ponies on his shirts.

Versace (RIP) would have done way over-the-top stuff ---- with that Medusa head on everything.
