Default Please STEER me in the right direction.. ;P

    Hey guys...

I need your help with a power steering question. My current setup on my 82 has the high side hose as just that, a high pressure hose that comes off the rack and curves way up (in front of coolant resv.) and back and has an angled metal fitting that screws into the side of the pump. I'm running an AGR rack now but it was this way before when it had stock rack.

Now, I've been dismantling this 84 and notice the same line but it turns from hose to a hard kind of triangle shaped line that runs up and back down in front of the a/c condenser (through a hole in the frame!!). So question is... is the setup I have better (with the HP hose) or is there some cooling benefit to the line that the factory had there and I should go back to it???

Thanks so much as always for your input!

Smile, it's an easy thing you have complete control over that takes less work than the alternative.

The line out in front of the condenser is basically a simple power steering cooler.
