Sorry to hear about the fate of Bit, I think the food should be regulated better or at all!

nice white tabby, looks like human eyes

my kitten gets human eyes when she all wired and craked out, we know to stay away from her when she has human eyes, she will do something crazy

all of my cats are indoors, except when I lived on 14 acres in Hawaii, even past the land was no neighbors.

One of our black ones is named Nefertiti. For consistency the other one's name is Tatey-bug.

Hmmm. I'd be afraid that I'd start calling Nefertiti just "titi" for short ---- and that could cause all kindsa problems.

The time has come for her to be called something other than "Kitty."

    Presenting...

She was delivered to me at the house at Midnight and the style of the wheels on the Cadillac are called Lace ---- plus I like the way it sounds.

    Thanks Bob.

Midnight Lace would probably hide from Monorail Cat right now.

She seems to be kind of a 'fraidy cat right now ---- 'cept with me who she claws constantly ---- but I took her outside for a little while and she found a corner near the garage and just sat there watching the world ---- and never moved. She happily went back inside.

Well, she is still quite young, so I wouldn't be surprised if she's a little 'fraidy cat. At least she has her scratching post.

It seems like you two are getting along quite well. Keep us posted with pics
I can't believe it's been almost 6 years I got my dog, he was sooo small when I got him. It's amazing how time changes things.

My cat -- we call her "Krum" -- the Wife brought her home from the landfill. She still howls like h*ll if you pick her up, but comes right back purring after.

Today, she was playing on the sofa ---- and she has discovered her tail.

It was fun watching her flip around grabbing her own tail.

Our cat Sunny. We rescued him from an abusive family when he was a kitten. silly cat however; he refuses to scratch anything other than cardboard boxes, but there cheap enough that I always have a nice fresh one for him about every 3 weeks. Here he is sitting on the back of one of the computer chairs I have in my computer lab. we have another pet who is a small dawg (wife dog) the dog still tries to play with Sunny, but he doesn't hold up well to the claws been considering getting on of those automated litter boxes...anybody tried one?

    Love the new name!

I used to have the litter maid one, it was great, as long as I emptied it every day or less with my 2 cats. The container is really small and if you dont reuse them they are pricey. My cats like to drink a gallon of water everyday so they pee, ALOT, and it finally proved to much for the liter box and stripped the gears that move the scooper

Now I have a litter box that uses Pellets instead of sand/litter. I like it, my cats used to fill up atleast 1/3 of a clumping litter box with pee twice a day, I hated scooping it all the time. with this box the pee flows thru to a tray in the bottom that has a pad. I just scoop the poop into the toilet once a day and change the pad every other day. They just stopped making the box's so its getting harder to find the pellets

I learned real quick what it takes to have sanity with kitty litter...extra large boxes with a lid! With Sunny here I can go 1 week between changes and i use the clumping kind. I have to bag the poop and pee as i have a septic and do not want the clay in the bottom of my tank.

Ha! Our car was named Sunny -- red and fluffy was he! Was with us 17 years. We lost him to something neurological, either a stroke or brain tumor last year. One of the most painful things ever . That guy was such a trooper...he survived cancer two separate times years before.

On a happier note, dburdy your cat is so cute. Enjoy Midnight Lace! All these cat pictures are great. It's good to see loved cats. Cats are awesome!
