Some ladies that I know said that a kitten was abandoned on the doorstep of the office recently.
They thought I needed it.
Though I have a name in mind, I'm up for suggestions.
She's shy ---- okay not ---- and she's got some claws.

Still got the '80 capri. Covered and kept in storage until i finish my IBEW apprenticeship and move back home. In the meantime I'll lurk around here or you can catch me on Powerstroke.org OR Fullsizebronco.com
call her boss. you will being working for her know. cleaning up after a cat is a job in itself. I really hate the part about pets where you clean up after them.

Dude, that is F%$#ing creepy, did you sneek into my house??
I just got a black kitten and that looks just like our chase, I just snapped some pics and waiting for photobucket.
Our kitten looks a couple weeks older then yours, we named her Ivy. She is polydactle, she has 6 toes on each front paw, she climbs like a vine, Ivy. The extra toes are actually like thumbs, she can grab things and pick them up. Really pisses off the other cats, who are declawed
BTW, nice kitten and good choice in furniture, that is if you arent stalking me and taking pics from in my house
I rescued a black kitten once. Never again. I think it resented the fact that I gave it a second chance. Never had a problem with a Calico, tabby, etc. Just black ones. Maybe I am racist. LOL

Actually my print is on two chairs ---- not a couch ---- but whatever, that's besides the point. The brown on my chairs is actually a little darker than in the pics (because of the flash, of course). In reality, it's closer to your print.
When I saw your picture, I just glanced at it and thought that it was one of mine. At first I thought, "Why did this guy put a date stamp on my pic?" ---- and then I realized it wasnt my pic.
Your kitten does look a little bit bigger. Mine is really skinny. I guess that came from being abandoned and not really having learned how to hunt for food, yet.
My sister had asked me if I wanted to adopt a cat or dog just a couple of weeks ago ---- 'cause we do stuff for the Humane Society here ---- and I had told her that I didnt think I was ready for that responsibility yet ---- but when these friends of mine asked me to rescue this skinny little kitty, I couldnt say no.
I'd luv to build her a room in the basement ---- or just let her have the whole thing.
There've been some good names offered. Thanks.

yeah, we've had Ivy for a few weeks now she is 13 weeks old. both our kittens look like they have stripes, only at certain angles. normally Ivy is solid black but when she stretches out and takes a picture sideways she has solid stripes!!

Make sure you get night lights so you don't step on your cat when your walking to the bathroom at 2am. My cats mostly black and very hard to see at night.

Very good idea. She was on the sofa just a little while ago ---- and the only 'light' in the room was the TV and the computer monitor and I couldnt see her.
I did actually have motion sensor lights installed here and there in the 'new' house. When you go into any of the bathrooms, the lights come on and go off automatically.
She slept with me one night ---- though that kinda made me nervous. She weighs less than one pound and I dont wanna hurt her. She's now been sleeping in the master bathroom.
I was surprised, for a kitten abandoned and left outside, that she started using her kitty litter box from day one. That's a good thing.
very similar
Our little Ivy doesnt have a regular meow, she sounds like a ferret? or something its not like a sound from any cat I've ever had
I've only owned black cats, my older 2 cats are tuxedos, thats the farthest from solid black I've ever gotten and their over 15 years old so having a little kitten is really "fun" for them
Just as a heads up, wallmart has a cool cat tree that goes from the floor to the ceiling, it keeps Ivy from tearing up the rest of the house.
we also got this cat tree from a catalog, it has solid shelves but folds up real small incase we need to put it away and just hangs from any door. She really loves having a house to play and hide in, not only can she get in and out from each level but there is also holes in each level to get up or down.
My little kitty doesnt actually say, "Meow." She says, "Mew." It's very high-pitched ---- well, after all, she is a girl.
That's a cool floor-to-ceiling climbing thingie. Thanks for the pics.
I talked to my sister about going to some pet shops this week to check out some stuff (like that) for her. I'd rather build some stuff myself ---- but that's not gonna happen just yet ---- so I'll buy some ready-built stuff for now.
it gets pricey, most cat trees i've looked at are over a hundered $'s !! the cat tree that i took a pic of has only 3 levels and is really easy to install. It was about $25 at walmart and stays out of the way. the cat house hanging thing was more like $200 from some catalog, it was worth it as it keeps Ivy out from under my feet for the most part but it was pricey.
Lucky she took to the litter box, Ivy did also but then my older cats have been marking their teritory so Ivy has started doing it to. Luckily I have a pretty good carpet shampooer but it still is irratating.
Ivy "chirps"!! not a regular cat sound at all!! take some getting used to
Cute kitten, and my vote is to call her Ceiling Cat....
