ponydude: Your car was also ordered with factory A/C. "AC" on the Buck Tag proves it. Thanks for verifying the "N" under A/C on the VC Label. Only thing I don't have on yours is the mileage.

Ok it does have power locks and windows.
No rear defrost.
No rear wiper.
No louvers or any sign it ever had.
And no current radio and no sign of premium sound such as labeling or i know later models had a tag on the bezel. If theres any tell tale signs i should look for let me know.

My 83 RS Turbo has interval wipers. As for the R=blank, I can't be sure as the sticker is faded there. The mileage is 116,625 but the PO was a Ford Tech and told me he rebuilt the motor with NOS Ford parts. I assume rings, bearings, and gaskets. It runs like it was rebuilt.

Hope this helps out somehow. Only options on it was 1. rear window defrost 2. Cassette radio 3. Premium sound 4. Sport seats 5. dealer added the McLaren spoilers and fog lights.

Mr. Squirrel: I haven't really concentrated on the LTS and LX yet, but I will add that to the list. The Marquis LTS is going to be tough to find as that was a Canada-only model, but a VIN from any one of them that anybody can get would be great. I do have six VINs from LTDs, an those are just four from ebay and the two I own.

FoxChassis, here is some info I could get on the 84 GT Turbo. It belongs to my oldest son.
The car is a T-Top, black, red interior with lowback seats. It has AC, cruise, no tilt, manual windows and locks, and interval wipers. It had the 14" aluminum slotted GT wheels. The VIN is: 1FABP28EF189869.
I'll post more info as I get it. The driver door was damaged in an accident, but I have it. However, the sticker is not readable.

The door tag will tell the month and year of manufacturer. You used to be able to get the build date info from Stew. I haven't heard what he did with it but I'm sure someone else has it now.

Kevin Marti has the info as well, but doesn't have all the foxbody years put together yet. He might have the year 1981 though.

The '83 Turbo GT database is slow-going. Only seven members so far have added their info. I also have two from ebay.

8sec90gt: The "D" at the end of the VIN is a "0". (The last six are always numbers.) Can you tell me the mileage and the options your car has? Does the car still wear it's Buck Tag? If it does can you post an image of it or codes from it? Thanks.

SVT Rob: I cannot find anywhere that a 1E secondary exterior paint color was available except on the Turbo RS. Please check again. If the car is Black below the bodyside moulding, it is "1C". Can you tell me the mileage and the options your car has? Does this car still wear it's Buck Tag? If it does can you post an image of it or codes from it? Thanks.

84NAVYCAT: The VIN is the very least amount of info that I would like. I would really like ALL info you can provide, especially the VC Label, Buck Tag, and if you can find it and read it, the Build Sheet. Images of each of those is preferred rather than posting the codes from them but I know not everybody is able to post images at this time.

I don't recall seeing the buck tag when I removed the hood latch assembly, but I'll look again. I have a picture of the door tag, it didn't come out all that clear though. I'll upload it.

Looking at your posts since I joined I suspect that you are building (or have) a database of VIN #'s on the rarer cars. Am I correct? If so, what are the plans for the database?
