Just going to stick with some turbines for now, since I am getting a complete set nice and cheap with good rubber. I am always afraid to do someone elses car in fear of effin the paint up. Need to be careful..lol

That looks great. Kind of reminds me of when I bought my 85. The p/o had sanded down the hatch and the top of the rear bumper for some reason and just left it that way for 2 years, the lower half of the front bumper was sandblasted really bad, and the trim was so faded it was pathetic. I picked up paint on the way home with the car and sprayed the hatch, top of the rear bumper and bottom of the front bumper the next morning. Waited for that to dry, and went to town with masking tape and repainted all the trim. Then went to town with my buffer. But it wasn't 90 degrees out when I did it. To be honest mine really could use a complete repaint too. But it's a real good 10 footer and it's rust free so I'm not too concerned. I love the turbines with RWL tires. That's going to look cool. I don't know if I would run an off road pipe without functioning A/C though. I ran one on mine for a year before putting cats on it and it smelled horrible. Just don't forget you have a Capri to fix too!

Those before pics really show a big difference to the new ones. I could tell it made a big difference but it was hard to see the car at night on Sat.

Very nice job, I'm sure your wife is thrilled.

I just can't understand why people let a car go like that, just makes me sick!

Two thumbs up from me too! I think you should open your own detail shop and call it "JeffClean Auto Detailing" You could use the Police song "JeffClean in a Bottle" for your advertisements. LOL!

Where do you find these women who actually want to own/drive a Fox, much less just appreciate them?

Wife wife justs scoffs to her friends how I just play with old junk cars like a little kid...an old car to her is 6 years.

But I knew this going in, so what did I expect from someone who after extensive and exhaustive research decided on her '01 Honda Accord soley because, "Honda had the best blue color out of Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, Toyota and Ford." when she went car shopping .
