Default Bought a car for Mrs Capriman86 today

Noooo its not a foureye, but it is a foxchassis.

She had an aeronose years ago, and has been really wanting another one so I gave in....Took the money from the sale of the Anny and picked up this rust free 88GT. It's an auto, and runs good. Needs some Jeffclean, but I enjoy it and am looking forward to it. Hell I already started..LOL

Honestly, the paint is shot, but for now, I am going to bring back its luster, then we can drive it around a bit to see what it needs. Then throw some new black paint on it.

Bought the car, with some extra's, a offroad hpipe, BBK headers, and a BBK SSI upper/lower intake set up, all for $2k. I think we did well.

    Here are some pics...

Got a dent to deal with here, but its not aweful

    Look mom, no rust!

This was the ONLY rust I could find on the car so far.
    Very happy about that.

With a little TLC, I will bring back some shine until we can get it painted.

looks like a decent find and the shine is definitely coming out on that hood. Good job.

Hey look, a set of turbines for the Capri!

Cool new ride for the Mrs. Looks like it will jeffclean up real good.

Wait... tell me, is the ashtray lid spring still there? And it works? Wow! Never see them still working any more. It seems everything there likes to break apart.

.... and where the hell are these deals when I've got extra cash???
I push my fingers into my eyes......

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update - 2023 - Looking to buy 81 Mustang, 82/85/86 Mustang GT, and 79 - 86 Capri (No Sunroof). Not looking for all original/show cars or convertibles - I will be modifying. Would be nice if both were - Black Interior, PW, PL, AC, No - or very little rust. Motor/Trans/Axle not important. Options negotiable with price.

Man, you work quick Jeff. No wonder you left John's in such a hurry!

For the record, I don't recall using POS... I did scratch my head though thinking what you had up your sleeve. Always a good time bro.

Good luck with it. This one will definitely "buff out".

I am not a huge turbine fan either Chris, but I agree, on a GT, in black like this, they look good.
Plus I already got another set of 4 for it that are much nicer...LOL
Picking them up today or this week.
