There is a post about that somewhere on here. It was a month or so ago. Some company that will cut them down to 15" or weld material on to make them 16"
I push my fingers into my eyes......

Update - 2023 - Looking to buy 81 Mustang, 82/85/86 Mustang GT, and 79 - 86 Capri (No Sunroof). Not looking for all original/show cars or convertibles - I will be modifying. Would be nice if both were - Black Interior, PW, PL, AC, No - or very little rust. Motor/Trans/Axle not important. Options negotiable with price.

You think we could just talk a company into making new ones? I bet you Fikse would do it, they're local to me, and charge a sane amount for a forged wheel made to your specs.

(still tons of money, but it seems a fair trade)

you have to wonder if the cost of cheaper tires would not offset the cost of the wheels.

    have you priced coker's lately???

TRX Michelins are still available from Coker tire. Corky is VERY proud of them but they are real Michelins and they are available!

Seems like I saw a post a while back about a company entertaining the idea of making new ones. The wheels werent made, but they did post drawings

They were ugly. They looked like TRX wheels, but looked all kinds of wrong as well. I remember thinking tri-bars with 95 Cobra centercaps would look more correct than the "modern" TRX wheel.

Same here, when I think of a modern TRX rim I think of the SN-95 Mustang tri-bar rim.

I think some wheel companies were machining the centers out of the original rim hoop and weldind them into larger hoops.

I didn't weld mine in....I just bolted them in. I drove around awhile and the lugs never lost any torque, so I feel confident that the setup is safe.

    These are the Stang/Capri TRX centers in a 15 x 7 wheel (top 2) and 16 x 8 (bottom 2)
