Under cover is my '05 S-281. And the hat collection is nearly triple what you see. The beam is covered on the backside too, with more hats piled in a cabinet until I get the motivation to re-do the beam with a tighter fit.

That pic was taken late summer in '05....just a few months and barely 700 miles into ownership. No way I was getting any closer to a puddle at that point But I do see your point and will take it under advisement for the next shoot

I would love to....but I'm afraid I am tapped out for now There are 3 others I know of but I really doubt anything will come of them.

    *1985 GT - Canyon Red & Loaded........7800 miles last I saw it.
*1985 GT - Black, Sunroof and no power options.........4800 miles last I saw it.

Now that I have my '85, not much of a desire for either of those. HOWEVER....a friend of mine owns a 1985 Saleen #116 that I hope to buy from him someday if he ever sells. I am first in line :-) It has 16k miles and is in pretty much the same shape as this GT I just bought. I just hope its 5-10 years down the road

You know....I do feel VERY fortunate. Being in a position to spend some money is one thing, but actually know where the cars are and finally convincing the original owners to sell is most of the battle! I sat in my garage most of the weekend and just scratched my head....still hard to believe I landed them both, and only 9 months apart at that

Just think 'bout how good you'd feel to share that information and negotiate a sale for an FEP friend.

Man, that would make you feel soooooooooo good.
