Default '83 5 lug swap question

I'm using the axles and calipers off of a '94 GT. On the pre '86 cars, what is the best way to connect the hard axle lines to the calipers?
I bought adaptors to fit the '83 hard line to the Caliper, but the hard line is now a couple inches too long. I'm thinking that since the lines are crusty anyway, that I could order a new set (stainless), and shorten and reflare them with the correct fitting for the calipers. This sound about right?

I just bought lines for a 94, they work perfect.

I have the lines off the '94, but my '83 has the junction block (line from MC into block then out to wheel cylinders) on the passenger side of the axle mounted through the vent... not in the front like the newer foxes and the '94 .
