    Default Here is my vin for 79 capri rs

    9F14F662508 X 5W 23
    61D RZ 06F Y5A6

    If anyone has a clue what this means. I know its a four speed, 302 car, has power locks, window cranks, red interior, it was ordered with the TRX tires. Umm thats all I know for now.

    Please post the codes from the Vehicle Certification Label (sticker on driver-side door) and the Body/Buck Tag (metal tag attached to the radiator core support, behind the driver-side headlamps). I'll have some questions for you then. Thanks.

    thanks alot. I now have a clue on this car. Would anyone know how many of the 79 rs models were made of this color of any of the options. I understand that you stated that there were alot of different ways that they could be made. Anything that would make mine different from the others or just another RS made in 79

    Let's get something straight. ALL Capris are rare. For every Capri made, TEN Mustangs were made.

    The fact that you have an RS and the 5.0 option puts it right up there in the "pretty darn scarce" category.

    We don't have the numbers you want but since you have a 79, send your info to Marti at Marti's Autoworks and he can tell you how rare your car is with a Marti Report. I think you'll be very surprised.
