Sorry about the poor picture phone photos, don't do the car justice, I need to get a good camera and get some good pics. All I need to do is paint the hood, and finish cleaning up the under hood wiring, and she's ready for the road.
The 66 gt vert I've sold. Some info on the 83 gt t-top. This was my very first car, bought it in 1988, when I graduated HS, had 44,000 miles when I got it and I've owned it ever since. It now has 83,000 miles. I started the resto mod, a little over 2 yrs ago, and it is now about complete [well its never done, but its close enough to be able to drive this year].
It was a rotissery resto, completely stripped and blasted. I had to replace drivers floor board, drivers seat rear mounts had basicaly cracked the floor pan and it had to be replaced. The subframe connectors I put on have extra supports for the seat mounts to avoid the same problem.

Some comments on the heads, I was originaly looking at Edelbrocks rpm aluminum heads. The guys at the local race shop in Grand Rapids MI. recomended the Pro Comp units [since we wanted to assemble them our selves] and they came with bigger intake and exhaust ports then the edelbrocks I was looking at, and a better price. They also told me that some of the local racers seem to realy like them. There's very little intell on them, from what I've found here, there is a few claims of a copy cat, made in china claims. We had no problems during assembly, they seemed to be pretty well manufactured units, and with my set up the seem to perform very well [still a little early to tell]. The only issue I had was valve cover fit, they ended up sending me a set of their chrome covers [again seemed well made] free of charge, and they did fit way better [still not perfect but no leaking issues]. I guess I will be giving them the true test this summer, as I will finaly be able to put some miles on them. I'll let you guys know how they perform.
Sorry for being so long winded, but I guess thats a pretty good introduction of my ride.
