    Post Newbie from Alabama

Well I have had my 83 gt since I was 14 and did some mods to it before I started driving it, but just now starting major mods to the old horse, and hope to get some good info from you guys. I have already add new crate motor from ford racing 340hp with E303 cam, granatelli tubular k member, coil overs, msd ignition, demon carb, aluminum rad, electric fan, electric fuel pump, gas tank sump, custom made rear seat delete, battery relocation, and several other mods, have pics of most of the work done. Just looking through forum for some info on what size rims and tires I can get to work with the new k member since it moved the wheel base 3/4" forward. I love the four eyed look the best of all the mustangs they are the best by far. Just hate that mine looks like a 85 in the front because my stepfather wrecked it and could not find the right bumper cover to go back on it at that time.

I am sure in time you can find an 83 front end right here...I came close to buying an 83 GT before I came my car.

My dad bought it back in 1984 and my mom ended up with it when they got divorced in 1986, then she gave it to me after my 14th birthday so we could get it back in good running order, and I had it repainted in 1994 after I graduated, so the car has been in the family almost since it was new, A doctor bought it original and only had it a few month before trading it back in. It is a late 83 model 09/83.

Lafayette is about twenty five miles north of Auburn, Hwy 431 runs right through the middle of town.

Really? I used to live in Roanoke, Alabama for about 30 years! Is Judge Holly still in office in Lee county? I think I paid his salry for a few months with speeding tickets through LaFayette. LOL
Welcome to the board, looks like you've got a good start!
