      Cool rookie from the uk

      hi guys, just joined the forum.

      i have an 1979 cobra fox which used to be a 2.3 turbo but now has a 302 v8 with 600cfm carb.

      start racing it this season as i only bought it last august

      will post some pics soon

      hi guys, il try to answer your questions.

      yes i am from the uk and i imported the car from belgium, ex air forceman car.sat for a year because the guy went back to detroit.

      i bought it from him and trailered it back to the uk,good weekend that lol,im still getting use to steering wheel being on the wrong side ha ha.still got the engine and box plus the original seats that were in it.

      she runs 14 secs on a quarter mile but that was only one run as the season doesnt last long over here,made a few improvements including the purchase of a trak lok limited slip diff from ford racing which is still to be fitted,if any one has any tips ????

      in case your wondering the car in back ground shot of one my photos is a european capri,not like the american ones

      anyway glad you like the car,spent alot of time on it since august.have also fully seam welded the floor plan right upto the front struts,welded in a brace bar across the rear turrets,has almost stopped the rocking when i rev it up.also put some sub frame connectors in.they make a real difference

      i gotta say the cars ive seen on here are far superior and look amazing,you guys are lucky as you can get all the stuff of the shelf,alot more interest over there than here
