    Default Another New Guy

Howdy! Bill from IL here. Been browsing for quite some time now and finally decided to join. My current fleet is as follows:

1985 GT Hatch - Check my album for a few pics
1985 GT Vert - No pics....haven't found any to scan yet
1986 LX Coupe - V6.....at least that's what the fender tag says
    2003 F350 SD 4X4
    2003 Lincoln Aviator - Mommas
    1996 GT Tangerine - Mommas

Please excuse the picture quality as I have none that were actually taken with a digital camera, just photos that I have scanned and the newest pics are from 1996 or so.........I know it's sad isn't it.

    Later!

Port Byron right along the Mississippi river. Area referred to as the Quad Cities. Also just a handful of miles south of Cordova dragstrip, although I don't seem to be able to make it there as often as I'd like.

Nice!!! I was born in Silvis, Got family in East Moline, Carbon Cliff and a few others around the area. Well if u ever c a black Capri thats new to te area running around give a wave. Just got the 351W into it. So when I get it back from the exhaust shop look for my thread. It was a fun prodgect to do. I'll have a big write up on it.

Now, don't go giving me any ideas.

Actually that is one of the reasons I bought the 86 notch in my sig. Someome must have started a project and got bored or ran out of money. It has a 351W, long tube headers, Edlbrock carb, MSD ignition w/ distributor, 5 lug all around, 9 inch rear plus some other misc goodies. This all sounds good but it's kind of a mess to look at. Honestly it looks like they just took an old station wagon or truck drive line and dropped it in (with some minor alterations of course). I think the trans is one of those FMX things, at least that is what the pan looks like, plus the rear brake drums literally take up the entire inside of some 16" steel wheels I put on it.

I originally planned to build a race car from it, but then we built a house, hand a little girl......and so on, so my funds are currently being used for those ongoing projects, although it's well worth it since I didn't have to get rid of any toys in the process.

I'll be keepin' an eye out for your thread.
