Good Lord, where did the previous owner have this car parked, a salt mine? Great work, I wish I had your talent, skill, endurance and stamina. I would be waving a white flag by now.

Man that is awesome work!!. Sure brings back memories of my build of my T-top coupe. It seems '84 t-top coupes always come up as finds but hardly no '83s.

Well, the car was owned by one person all of it;s life 120K + miles and it lived over in eastern part of New York. It must have been someones daily driver. Doesn't seem like all that undercoating really helped any.

I hear ya, I'm originally from Hawaii and unless you get that rust proofing and extra undercoating you car would last maybe about 8 years. In fact, new cars used to come with all of that when you bought it, don't know about now though.

Your progress on this ride is awesome. I commented over in another thread about those wheels and that car......lay the car over those Cobras and it will be HOT, no matter what color you shoot it. Great work and nice shop you got there.

I occassionally have done this stuff for people, but not as a business. I would love this to be my business though.I do it so I can afford engine parts, and we are truely mustang enthusiasts.

Well I guess the worst of the rust was saved for last. The radiator support was so bad I opted to just do this...

The car would have literally fell apart

The other side was as bad, here is the repair....

Wish I had a donor car for this. I may call down to Winder Ga. and see if he could cut me part of a good rocker.

Here's where the battery sat for 15 years.

    After...

I can't wait to get started smoothing the engine bay, getting closer. Thanks for tuning in.

Here is the peice I need, driverside, would be glad to buy it and of course pay your trouble to ship.

Here is the repair of the worst side where the k-member bolts on, the supports inside were rotted right out. It's lucky we didn't have it break all the way through over summer when we were actually driving around, could have run right over the k-member.

Just need to box it in.
Julie washed the inside and primed all the seams, ready for seam sealer.
