EDIT: I just verified I have the shelter for May 9th. If there is a problem let me know ASAP! Paying for it tommorrow.

As you might have noticed i sent out a sort of mass email message to anyone listed as being located in wisconsin. We're just trying to get a rough guess of how many people will show up, ideas for any activities will be taken as well, i think it was said before that theres usually a football to be tossed around. yea, so far on my end i have 3 maybes...ugh, i had alot of people reply from here saying either they couldnt make it or their car wouldn't be ready by then...

Hi All,

I too received an invite and it sounds like a great time. My family and I would love to come and participate. However I think that the date should be moved if possible. As many in Wisconsin know, the weather in May can still be a bit unpredictable. Hot or Cold, Raiin or Snow, Calm or Tornados, ... you get the idea. Maybe have it the day before Father's Day or ? ? ? in June. Hopefully something can be worked out so that more people can attend. Please keep us all posted. Take care and have a great night all.

For this cookout the date is set in stone. I have planned one every year around this time and only once have we had foul weather. We have a shelter rented that holds 100 people, so the only thing we need to worry about is cold. I also have one in the late summer that could easily be another FEP gathering. Honestly, I really hope to see everyone at both.

I think by may we should have all around good weather, not too cold, not too hot, and fewer bugs...lol Well you got one member for sure...(me)

I never received an invite, but if you'll take me I may be interested. I work weekends so it can be a pain to get it off but just to make sure I ask for the right day it's May 9th? And where exactly? Maybe some of us from Janesville, Edgerton, Madison can go up as a group. That might be kind of fun.

I'll let you know when I know if I can get out of work that day. Right now my work is only scheduled until the weekend of Jefferson so I'll know in the coming weeks. I hope I can work it out, sounds like fun. Family friendly or just car geeks? I have a 4 yr old who likes riding in daddy's Mustangs.

OK, who's putting this together, meatsack maybe (did I really just type meatsack?

). It looks like I'll be able to make it. Can I get more info? What time? Cookout? Do you need folks to bring anything? I don't get emails from this site but PM me info if you want. This sounds like fun. Anyone in the Madison, Janesville, Edgerton, etc area want to go up in a group, that could be fun too. A pack of foureyes cruising up 151, cool.

if i cant get my 79 pace registered,licensed,and roadworthy,can i bring my 87 ttop gt?also, if anyone is going to the fathers day all ford show at stumpf ford in appleton i live a block away and will be willing to have a cookout and social at my house .any interest let me know

I am putting this together, along with some help from Blue Beast. Everyone needs to bring there own drinks..NO GLASS BOTTLES! The park does not allow it. Myself and a local car club will provide the food, donations for food are NOT required, but appreciated. All I need to know is how many everyone is bringing, so we have enough food.

I show up early, but usually tell everyone to be there around noon or so. We eat at 5ish. We have the whole area until midnight. The park is a good cruise spot so there should be lot of cars in the area.

P.S. Bring some lawn chairs.

Any other questions please feel free to ask. Also I will give directions a week or so before the cookout.
