Thirty-two registrations recieved.....so far....more to arrive soon. Tore down and rebuilt the famous cook shack today, from a distance it looks pretty. couple of neighbors walked over today and offered to help with parking, ect. Nelson and I met a couple in town last night, and took them to the field, then gave each a ride in the SVO, made believers out of them. We were parked at the end of the driveway near the road until 11pm and even got the local cops to pull in and question us, and today they were keeping an "eye" on us while we were working on the cook shack. They must be new officers and not have a clue about what's to take place on saturday...
I want to take a bedsheet and spray paint on it the words "CODE-4" and post it by the road...that ought to so it. Better have some doughnuts ready.

You know, I haven't been on the site in a few days so I decide to hop on with a quick note to let Neil know my registration and money are on the way, and what do I get greeted with? A "cops and doughnuts" joke!! Is there no safe place for the boys in blue?!?! Tsk, Tsk...

I hope my car will make it. I took it to the Mustang show in Langley last weekend and on the way home my Calipers siezed and an injector was pissing every where. Me and my 4 year old stuck on the highway for an hour until a tow came.

Ray, we're pulling for you...just burn the midnight oil. Mark, got yours and Jeff's tonight, as well as others. Was on the tractor at 7 am this morning mowing everything, and while there will be some past friends missing this year to weddings ( yes, more than one ), and mechanical breakdowns, there will also be new faces and rides, and campers both friday and saturday nights....this is starting to turn into a weekend party.

Actually, I did take tomorrow off, but I'm gonna use it to wash the car and tighten some things up before the big trip up north Saturday morning.

Guests will start to show up around 2 pm on friday, and some will remain until sunday afternoon. I think the de-briefing report with Pics might be posted in general BS section a few days after the BBQ, so everyone else on FEP gets to take a look at what happens in the crazy North West. keep a watch over there...??

I ain't gonna be able to make it yet again. In2fords got capri trouble and it won't make the journey. I started to work on mine again so lets keep our fingers and toes crossed that I can get it finished in time for next year and then In2fords and myself can roll up there in our own cars.

Blew my larger heater hose tonight. Trying to figure out if it's the core or not. I'm pretty sure it's just the hose, but since I did my IVR, I can't get my temp gauge to read out at all, which has me nervous as sin.

Leak has stopped now that I've tightened the hose clamp a bit. Expect the drive out to be a bit hairy for me still though.

I can do anything up to a headgasket in your yard, right?
