    Thumbs up Ontario FEP gathering/BBQ

Since we have quite a few members in Ontario, I would like to organize a FEP gathering / BBQ this spring or summer. Anyone have suggestions and dates?? It's actually the 30th anniversary of the 79' Fox Chassis....I'm thinking around Oakville (Ford plant) area. I've got a P.A. system and tons of tunes. Chime in with any input...hopefully we can get a few members from New York State too.

    Thanks!
    Joe

I'd join in too, hopefully my '86 will be de-aero'd by then. I know of a couple of other four eye owners in the GTA who'd very likely join in as well. Any idea on a timeframe?

I think we can make this happen...Would be really cool to get a cruise going to Niagara Falls along the wine route. There is a huge park at Queenston Heights where we could stop for a lunch picnic and get photos of everyone and their cars. We can wave at our buddies south of the border. If anyone from the USA wants to attend, it's literally a 5 minute drive from the Niagara Queenston bridge.

I suggest everyone meet at the Ford head office parking lot in Oakville and then cruise towards Niagara...I think last weekend in May may be good.

Even if we get a dozen cars would be worth it for a group photo.

    ...LOL

    Any suggestions...

Count me in Joe! That way if the car breaks down on the cruise I have someone there to blame! LOL. Could you make it one of the last two weekends in May?

    Thumbs up

    OK! Who's In?

    Date: Sunday May 24, 2009
Meet at Ford headquaters in Oakville, ON.
    Time: between 9:00 - 10:00 AM

Then cruise towards Niagara, Queenston Heights park. Bring your lunch and we can have a picnic when we get there. Checkout the cars there and get some photos. I'll get a map routing us through wine country. Let me know who can make it.

For our USA members, we'll be at the Queenston Heights park at about 12:00 pm and will spend a few hours (1 - 2) and then cruise through Niagara Falls...and head back home.

I doubt my car will be ready by the end of May, and even if it is I wont be able to make the scheduled date as I'll be in town the week before and the week after......... There's no way I can do three weekends to T.O. in a row!

what's 25 degrees celsius? us americanized canadians are lost, hahal! just kidding. that's what happens when they try to predict windsor weather out of toronto, they're always wrong on the canadian channels. you'd think windsor and detroit on on different sides of the planet sometimes.

i swear my area is the only area in canada that talks in fahrenheit. around 80 degrees F, no?
