RS Capri question

Did the 83 RS Capri have a dash emblem? If so where maybe could I find a picture of one? Is it the same on multiple years? This is for anyone with alot more knowledge of Capris

My 84 RS Turbo doesn't have one. Maybe the panel was replaced, but I doubt it since it's a PITA to get to, compared to the instrument bezel piece.

My 84 didn't have the RS button on the dash either. In fact, it only had the Cougar head in the horn button on the steering wheel. No other interior emblems. Look at Kicksrocksracings ad, his car is very similar to mine. Link: http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthread.php?t=68968

Photo #9 has the dash pictured, and there are no emblems.

I could have sworn I have seen 84's with them....but I am probably wrong then.




As for kidrocks car you can't use that for an example there are a lot of interior changes on that car.

When my 84 arrived, I was all shocked and sad to find that I had no nifty little badges. I started looking around at other 84 RSes online, in brochures, etc. No badges. Same thing with the other 84 RS we have as well. No badges.

I like the flippin' things so much, I've considered just adding them so I can have them But, probably won't.

'84 didn't have one. SVT Rob, the guy I got my '83 RS from doesn't have one, nor does it appear to have ever had one. If you ARE looking to get some though (I love the look of them too) ebay has a couple that have the clear plastic cracked. That plastic can easily be removed and re placed by someone with plexi glass experience. Basically you just cut out a circle of plexi and heat it into place.
