    Default 86 radiator support

Hi guys, I have to replace my rad support on my 86 Capri. I bought the replacement part from mustangunlimited. The problem is that for 83-89 cars, the rad support does not comes with the reinforcement panels(90-93 comes with reinforcements).

Ford says that those panels are discontinued and mustangunlimited(50resto too...) do not have this part....my old part is in very bad shape...

Is there any solution????Do I have to built it???

Overhaulin' my 86 RS Cobra-Capri with my own hands...

A easy fix is to chop it off at the bottom of the frame rail and find one off a 87-93 mustang and do the same. Then reweld it on.
