Those AKT Logic wheels are sick man! They are definitely rare! I dig the Halibrands too. Interesting, both cars are stunning '82 GT's......

These are definitely some interesting wheels. I'm surprised I haven't seen any pics of the old Prime 5 star wheels.

I haven't seen anybody else with these rims and 4Eye cars, even any fox cars.

This was previously on my 82 GT, I now have 5 lug mesh Enkies

Real '93 Cobras. You see the replicas but not the real ones very often...

Yep ---- they are Keystone Wires.

I always loved the whole deep dish ---- basket is a seperate piece ---- design.

As I've said before, I get some raised eyebrows over them ---- but I like 'em.

The "new" set that I bought ---- NOS ---- still have the stickers on them. It's so cool that they've never been on a car ---- and part of me cant hardly bear to put them on one ---- but that's the plan.

I was recently talking to a friend of mine that owns a tire store about them. He's an older guy and he told me that, back in the day, he knew an older lady who had a set just like them. He said that, when she went to clean hers, she would take the basket off and put it in the dishwasher. Now that's "interesting."

    Thanks. I really like 'em.

I bet the Cragar SSTs looked good on your coupe as well.

    LOL.

Hmmm. I havent thought of it ---- but now that you mention it. Nahhh. I catch enough h*** for my goofy ideas as it is.

However, the other day my sister and I were at Lowe's (so that I could pick out a new stainless steel fridge for the house), she commented on a second one for the garage. I've already got a microwave for it since the house came with a built-in one (and one for the basement bar/gameroom).

BTW, Lowe's has a new line of switchplate covers. They're diamond plate. So cool.

That's how they used to do them. I've sold about a bajillion sets back in the day. Keep your eyes peeled for a set of 'blackouts'. They made some for a short time before they were discontinued where the disc of the wheel was black but the basket and rim band were still chrome so they looked more like a TruSpoke.
