NOS LOUVERS
I NEED HELP. I HAVE A 85GT. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR NOS LOUVERS PART NO. E6ZZ6144268A. I FOUND A SET BUT THE SELLER SAYS THE PART NUMBER ON THE INVOICE IS E0ZZ6144268A. THEY ARE STICK ON AND WERE PURCHASED FOR AN 85. I KNOW THAT:
D9ZZ6144268A 1979 SCREW ON
E3ZZ6144268A 1980-1986 SCREW ON
E6ZZ6144268A 1980-1986 TAPE ON
E7ZZ6144268A 1987-1993 TAPE 0N
I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE E0 NUMBER. MY FORD PARTS GUY CAN FIND NOTHING ON IT.
I have a NOS in the box set of E0ZZ6144268A 1980 SCREW ON Louvers
The E3 part number has tabs that fit under the window trim and screw on too. These will NOT fit with the 84 1/2 & later spoiler, they are too long. The E6 part number is what you want, they "tab/screw" mount also. I made the mistake of buying a NOS set of E3s for my 85 GT, they however made a guy in Canada with a real nice 82 GT very happy, lol. I still haven't gotten a set for mine, but one of these days......................
