    Default New to the site

New to this site thought I throw out a quick hello, and briefly introduce myself. My current project is an 83 rs, but this is my 3rd Capri and 9th foxbody, so I'm not new to them. I did have just a quick question on the rear control arms on my car, they are the slapper bar ones but don't have the bars, only the pads on the arms. My question is are these worth hanging on to or should I just throw my hothckis setup in and be done with it

Welcome to FEP! Can't believe it's been four days sense you posted without anyone welcoming you. This is a good bunch of people, usually right on top of new members. Got any pics of your project? And for your question on the rear control arms. The slapper type were an early effort to correct wheel hop, so unless you are going original I would go with the Hotchkis.

sorry, I guess I should update my profile or at least add it. I'm located just N. fo Tampa Fla. Thanks for some of the kind words guys, the car is a solid starting point, however I can't stand the lx hatch w/ saleen wing, the pass tailight is beyond saving and the drivers side floor board has that typical tear at the rear of the seat tracks. I was extremely pleased w/ the condition of all the original sheet metal and rs hood, the cowl appears to be rust free, and the pass front frame rail is intact, it also had a 6pt cage when I got it w/ subframe connectors. I will in the next few days try to get some more pics uploaded for everyone.
