So I guess I have to make an email just for this site? my carrier uses yahoo email and it won't take it when I try and update and I don't have my old email anymore either, so I guess I'm just all around screwed?

Yahoo blocks us. Due to that, more people than I can count wound up registering accounts that NEVER got activated. Email changes that users attempted (because you have to have access to an old account to update to a new one since the board sends out a confirmation email to the old email address) were not successful, and accounts were abandoned. It didn't matter what we tried, Yahoo thwarted us. So, we gave up on accepting Yahoo email.

It is not because we wanted to punish Yahoo or their users. Yahoo, despite all the incredible amounts of spam it allows into everyone's inbox (yes, even I have a Yahoo account), decides that we are spam and either puts us in spam folders, that is, if we are lucky, or blocks the emails altogether.

Many other message boards have started blocking Yahoo email addresses as they have also fallen prey to the misguided spam filters that Yahoo insists on using.

I am sorry that this is an inconvenience for you, but Yahoo didn't give us much of a choice in the matter.

Well, I don't have access to my old email anymore, so If I make a new one, google I guess? and send it to you can you add it for me?
