85 RS vs GS vs 5.0L

There is little point in using the color "descriptions" from Ford. They reused various ones all over the place but switched up the color codes to whatever they wanted. Stick to the color codes. Those remain exact and as far as I have seen no single code was used for more than one color.

I believe there is some Ford lit on the Jalepeno Red. So it may have started as Bright Red but Ford did pick up of the "Jalepeno" description...at some point. Of course after a quick look I can't lay my hands on said literature...so I could be mistaken.

I have seen "Jalapeña Red" used in two instances by Ford for the 2R color code:

1. On a window sticker for a 1985 Twister II
2. In the 5/11/84 printing of the 1985 Rapid Spec Ordering Guide

Everywhere else (and even contradicting itself in the same Rapid Spec Ordering Guide) Ford called it Bright Red.

Finally got a picture taken with the 10 holes. I personally think it is a night and day difference for the better. But thats just me....
