Is it me or did it look like all of the surrounding Mustangs were giving your ride the 'ol evil eye?

I know this is bringing up an old conversation but, isn't it ironic that of the cars that didn't go to Saleen, LTDTrooper had one (he just sold), I have one (project at best and NEVER went into service), and I know of a reverend in Portland that has another?
Of those 3 cars, they are only 17 VIN #s apart!

This is my 1982 California Highway Patrol prototype car Unit 85-1963. This is the first Mustang police car and was provided to the CHP for testing in January 1982 by Emil Laufler who was in charge of the Mustang police car program. Several different pics at several different times of same car. This Mustang became the first of the only 5 EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course) training Mustangs ever used by the CHP at the CHP academy in Sacrmento. Hence the roll cage and other upgrades to the car by the CHP.

Second is this video produced by the California Highway Patrol for recruiting. It features the 4th and 5th CHP EVOC Mustangs with the camera car with blue rollcage being my 1992 CHP SSP Mustang.

Thanks Ken. I consider myself lucky just to get to drive it TO work! During the winter I really miss driving my SSP. I'll have to post up some new pictures once I get the original steel SSP wheels and caps installed.
