Default Power Big Meet Vasteras Sweden

Are any of the FEP owners from Europe attending this one?

Myself and Steve (79Pace) along with a couple of other lads are flying in on Weds 2nd July and flying back on Monday 14th.
We are staying at the Astoria Park Hotel in Enkoping and will have a hire car so can travel to meet up with anyone thats going.

Heres the link for the show http://www.bigmeet.com/ and also a link to the hotel we are staying in http://www.firsthotels.com/en/Our-ho...-Park-Astoria/

Hope to see some members there!

You might want to go over to militarystangs.com, there are a bunch of Mustang owners that are stationed in Europe.

Wow looks like a great event.

    I posted it on MilitaryStangs.com and mightymustangs.net

It looks like a 17hr drive for me.

It truly is a fantastic event, You will not see another US Car show outside of the States like it. The emphasis is more on actually getting out and cruising rather than showing! Ive been going four years now, Im hoping to drive it one year but I think it works out at around 1800 miles round trip for me!

Don, myself and the rest of the guys we went with had a fantastic time in Sweden!! Over the 3 days that the show was on, over 14,200 cars turned up and there were over 600 trade stands!! I was in car heaven LOL

The cruise has to be seen to be believed, 1000's of people line the route just chilling and watching the 1000's of cars go by. Most of the cars just keep going around the 7 mile route until 4AM (It never gets totally dark in Sweden during the summer!!).

We sat & watched the cars from early evening until 2am one night and never saw the same car twice!! Along the route are trade stands, food stands and even a outside broadcast radio station, it really is like American Graffiti on steroids!!

If anyone wants to look at my pics (almost 400 in total), here's the link:
