IIRC the four-eyed cars had a plethora of different suspension options. By '87 you only had two choices, regular and Heavy Duty. Heavy Duty was mandatory with the 5.0 V8. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Fox is correct once again and it stands for Special Handling. I think you had your choice between that and TRX on a V8 car.
