      Default c5 transmission issues

      Having problem with c5 transmission. Does not want to shift out of first when cold. Trans fluid has been changed including torque convertor, new filter and new transmission modulator. Car shift fine through gears once warmed up. Any ideas?

      relax, not everyone can have their questions answered right away.

      are you sure the fluid level is correct?
      will it upshift when you manually shift it?
      was it ever rebuilt?
      it may just be getting tired.

      Cool

      try adjusting the front and rear bands to see if it helps and is the fluid level ok if it is it sounds like its time to rebuild
