Sue & I have a pair of 88 Turbo Coupe 5 speed cars. Her completely stock White TC with just over 100K came fully equipped with just about every option available from the factory.
My black TC is lowered, with a few mods, and is now sporting Cobra Rs with Scorcher redline tires. It shows 221K on the odometer…………...still running great.
It's kind of a salt & pepper thing:

I never seem to get the nut that holds the steering wheel fixed
They look great! The Turbo Coupes were ahead of their times. Now the buzz word is Ecoboost. I prefer the term turbo myself...
Proud owner of the one and only Friggin' Futura

Now that I've purchased a good parts car I will finally start making progress (other than cleaning) on the LTS. Spent this past Saturday driving down to Bardstown, KY to bring back a solid but tired '84 LTD donor car. Now I've got all the sheetmetal I need, as well as a bunch of other misc. parts.

And about my, er, "parts car"... I don't have the heart to strip such a solid LTD, so... since parts acquisition (and finding someplace to dive headlong into her restoration) I'm going to throw my '97 Mountaineer 5.0, a T5, and an 8.8 I have laying around into it. Just going to leave the faded white paint and the grandma interior alone and make a fun beater out of her. I've named her "Lucky" since she escaped certain death !

I just purchased a 1980 Fairmont Futura Sport with a 2.3L, 4-spd, bucket seats. White exterior with red interior, plaid inserts on the seats.
Planning on changing a few things and doing a little 4-cylinder drag racing. More to come
Once I start making some progress pics will be forthcoming, I promise. I just wish life would stop getting in my way ...
