Default How many folks with which Foxes do we have here?

Looking to see what we have in the non-M/C categories around the site.

Hopefully I'll get them on here properly, as I know y'all will let me know about it in short order if I don't.

This is just to get a rough idea of the representation these cars have on this site.

You can also pick more than one type of car, the poll allows that.

It might be good to break up the 80-82 Tbirds/Cougars from the 83-88's.

Perhaps I am being picky though

(I guess "technically" you would lump them as '80-82 Tbirds/Cougar XR-7's and put the 81-82 non-XR-7 Cougars with the 81-82 Granadas as they are the same.)

    -'80 Cougar XR-7

Just looking at name plates (and siblings), not necessarily generational changes right now.

Just pointing it out, as there were 3 different wheelbase platforms in the 80-88 Tbirds/Cougars.

Hi, Ford introduced the Ford Fairmont/Merc Zephyr as a '78 Model which I have two fine examples of:

A 1978 Fairmont Futura Sport Coupe

A 1978 Fairmont Wagon (not a four-eye but like it just the same)

I also have a 1983 Fairmont 2 dr sedan, last model year of the Fairmont.

    I had an '81 ex-cop Fairmont sedan.

A few additions as of 4/20/12:

    '79 Fairmont 2 dr sedan

    '78 Fairmont 2 dr sedan

    '82 Cougar wagon.

I have serious automotive attention deficit disorder...

I believe Chuck is right, the '80-'82 T-birds were Fox cars while the '83 and newer were Fox chassis based. It's the same distinction between the Fox Mustangs and the Sn95 Mustangs, no? Or am I wrong?

All 80-88's Tbirds/Cougars are Fox chassied, just different wheel bases.

    80-82 Tbirds and Cougar XR-7's are 108" w/b
    81-82 non-XR-7 Cougars are 105.5" w/b (same as the Fairmont/Zephyrs)
    83-88 Tbirds/Cougars are 104" w/b

No other Fox nameplate has that many variations during its production run.
