I guess I don't know how to answer your question. The car is original paint, original side mouldings. I have an aftermarket one on my anny vert. The side mouldings on another original anny I have are identical to the ones on the turbo hatch. If you are asking about the thin red strip down the center of the door, all annys are like that. SVOs too.

I was referring to the moulding on the door, and fender in front of the door, and directly after the door,in front of the wheel well. It looks as if the 'vert is the same way, with the 3 " wide moulding omitted in these places, and a thin red 'rub strip' is placed in the profile on those locations.

Yes, that is what it is. There is a thin strip down the door. It goes from wheel well to wheel well. This is stock on all annys. The usual "rub strip" only in white and red is between the wheel and the bumper. That is how annys came.

Wow, I just learned something new! Please excuse my ignorance.I just did some research, and found the same thing, that the wide moulding was not there.I wonder why they did these cars like this?

Here's the valve cover sticker off my 85 carbed, 5 speed GT... It kinda sucks but figured I'd post it anyway... It also a high altitude car. Pretty sure the calibration is 5-21A-R01.
