Like everything else at the moment. I'm on layoff due to that GM shutdown. I hope I have a job to go back to when it's over. I am spending NO extra money!

Never fails. Enough money, not enough time, enough time, not enough money. This sucks.

But the biggest thing here is you are/were trying to do something truely unique. Just hang in there I was laid off the day after Christmas and will more than likely not get called back. My wife ended up getting a good job so I ended up as "Mr. Mom". I love the idea of a SHO powered fox chassis (I secretly wanted to do this but feared I didn't have the know how).

I am pretty sure the SHO exhaust will not work. Not sure yet if the 3.8 Mustang will either. Peganit2 I used some solid surface cabinet material for spacers for my intake to clear timing belt. I took a torch and tried to melt it. Wouldn't just distored and it not affected by gas. If want info just ask. So that problem should work. The fuel rail can be turned around to put them to trans area instead on pulley end like in the SHO body. Also Peganit2 if you want to to start my own post on this I will. I am not trying to steal you post. Just let me know. Either thru a post or PM. Maybe between the us we can fiqure it out. I plan on trying the engine/trans back in car soon. Will let you know.

Be my guest! I never did get it copyrighted. Go for it, and may you persevere. I'll be watching.

Yep the exhaust looked like it needed to be made from scratch stem to stern. I even tried both the 3.2 and the 3.0 manifolds. They're different. No luck.

A tubular k-member looks like it would make a couple of things easier, maybe even possible to get away not fabricating a couple of items.

I had the tranny crossmember in with the T-5 so the motor was in a good place but the oil pan interfered with the stock k-member. Not an issue with a tubular. The exhaust manifolds point right at the stock k-member, may not be an issue with a tubular.

I finally back to it. To fit a automatic to SHO. Need to take the automatic flexplate and weld up holes and drill to SHO pattern that is what I did. Also bellhousing must clearance to not hit the alumium piece at rear of engine. What might interest your project I took solid surface laminate and made spacers and trimmed timing cover. First 2 links for trans info. I have tried gas [no affect] and torch on them. Takes alot of heat won't melt just disintergrates. Last one spacers and timing cover. I think I will remake them in one piece to make install easier. You will need them also. Intake hits belt without them. Thanks Maurice.
