    Default Happy New Year.........Wham!

I rarely drive any of my mustangs into town, but last night the weather was nice so I opted to drive the 86. After a great dinner with friends and family I was greeted with a vandalized car . One foglight is missing and the other was kicked and broken. From the looks of it the thieves were unable to unbolt it because the bolt was rusted so they tried to kick it off pry it loose. The one remaininhg light is salvageable, but will need a new stud. Does anyone have one (stud) they are willing to sell (see pics of what I am referring to)? Thanks.

I have a spare parts foglight some where around here, if I can find it, the bolt is yours.

Man that sucks! Why would they want to steal a 20+ year old foglight? Especially ones hidden down inside a bumper cover. The mentality of these people amaze me.

This is one reason if mine will be unattended anywhere it stays home. I also don't like the stress of worrying about it.

That's exactly why I rarely leave mine unattended. At least my wife now understands why I leave them at home and take her truck when we go to town.

It is so sad isn't it? I have not left my car out of eyesight for at least 10 years now. It is strange because I have no problem leaving the Acura TL-Stype in long term parking at the airport for a week at a time.
