uh oh, little snag.
the body shop that still has my bumpers, hatch, and hood is going under. now they say I will have everything before they close there doors for good but Im alittle worried.

so i got almost everything back from the body shop before it closed the parts that didnt make it back are the tail lights and the surrounnd for the third brake light.(I know my car is an 85 and only 86's had the third light but the only hatch I could find rust free was an 86)
so if anyone has these parts they want to get rid of pm me.

okay again sorry no pics but nothing has changed on the outside, but i finally have gotten to work on it again. so today I have the front end wiring headlights fog lights turn signals and washer fluid resevior, yesterday i did the back end, so tomorrow I can do the interior.
then maybe I can start putting the interior in.

headliner recovering
starting with the old grey headliner
stripped the old material
put on the landau foam, and cut to size
finally lay down the black suede material
more to come once I install it.

so it was $38 for the fabric and $50 for the glue so not very expensive to do, sure beats the near $400 the local shop wanted here for a reproduction one.

looks good. any tips? I'll be doing my headliner in my coupe here pretty soon.
1 tip is get good headliner glue, the kind you put in a hvlp gun not the crap I used on this, its already bubbled abit.
anyway here are the back seats and carpet installed as well as the headliner.

okay flexible chrome upper and lower rad hoses are a BAD idea, my top hose blew off making a hell of a mess, so now I have stock black rad hoses again and I have less bling in the engine bay.

well I have 10 kms on it now, drives great sounds great, just a couple of bugs to work out and then the finishing touches and I thnk see's done.

okay so the motor is back out unfortunatly, the rear main seal puked out of it after only 3 days of driving, so I should have it back in tomorrow I hope.

wow I left this alone for awhile without an update, the rear main was changed out within that week and is good to go. did run into problems with the distributor the roll pin broke while I was driving(took me out for about 3 weeks till I could get at it to fix it up)
well now that I think all the bugs are out I can finish putting her back together, too bad its almost winter now.
