I have a video coming out Saturday on YouTube of a heater core change on the '86 I'm working on. That may be able to shed some light on the process. Otherwise, I did it on my '80 coupe a while ago too.

That would be helpful. Previous owner did the heater core before I bought my car. Dash was super loose and lots of things were not connected when I bought it. I stopped it from moving by adding some of the missing screws but I want to know what screws are still missing and the right way things are connected and routed. I don’t think the ducting is right either because the airflow seems off

I swapped out the heater core today since the weather was so nice. Still have to put the console back, dash pad, kick panels etc. I have some questions on bolts. Where does the short 11mm bolt go? It was on the drivers side under the a pillar when I took it off. I assume it went under the glove box but I couldnt get it to thread. Also I’m missing the lower bolt from the heater box that goes from inside the car to the firewall. Can someone post a picture with the length. Its been 4-5 years since I parted my last foxbody. I don’t remember what it looks like. Thanks guys
