WHAT SPARKPLUG ARE U RUNNING WITH GT40 HEADS.
I ran autolites when I had mine. to make it easier at the parts store, I just simply asked for plugs for a '93 cobra. they are one step colder than for regular heads.

Motorcraft AWSF-32C or Autolite 764's. Both are the same plug.

aren't the AWSF plugs for 86's? I think its ASF for the others. I may be wrong and I'm too lazy to go look at what I have for mine, lol.Originally Posted by mikejb

E6SE and GT-40 heads both use AWSF.
The "W" in the part number is for longer threads in the plugs.

i ask for plugs that fit a 93 or 94 cobra...autolite something or other. I need to buy a few spares so i can check the jetting on the carb, thanks for the remonder
