Default Anyone seen the 500 Mile Twister II in Mustang Monthly

Kind of a strange story here. I got some NOS parts from this guy and he lives in South Carolina. He agreed to bring them through Charlotte as he often runs out this way.

So we make the connection and when I stop, I see he is trailoring a 1985 notch. We get to talking, it's a 14k mile 5.0 survivor that he picked up in Virginia (no console, no options except maybe AC). He mentioned that he has some other cars including a 500 mile Twister II.

At the time I didn't make the connection but then I remembered the Twister II in MM and checked and it was the same guy! Monty Seawright is his name. Seems like he's snagging as many low mileage Foxes as he can find.

I told him to check this site out. Hope he does.

There definitely seems to be a movement afoot by some folks who are grabbing very low mileage Foxes. It's good to see them going into the hands of people who will keep them that way.

Monty Seawright has several low mile mint foxes. If you pick up a copy of the The Saleen Book (1984-2003), each chapter has a brief blurb about the stock Mustang GT for that year...and Monty has several of his cars pictured at the start of each chapter for the fox years....including a very nice 85 GT vert, an '86 red GT (t-topper I believe) as well as an 82 GT identical to mine. I wish I had the money to scarf them up like him because I know where three more 4 figure mile cars are located But for now I guess I'll have to be satisfied with two.
