Default This time of year = the sux

Going to be parking the beast for the winter on Friday (12th). Booooo

I'd like keep her out longer, but the last half of October is when we start playing the waiting game with the weather up here - plus with the drag radials on, it'd be a bitch to her into storage if it should happen to snow, so it's better to be early than late I suppose.

Who else has to put the car into hibernation soon?

The Mustang went away Oct. 1st. A month early.2 month driving suspension for doing donuts in a parking lot. Lost my job at KIA over it as well because I need to be able to pick up parts/shuttle customers. My liscence plates got transfered over to the Capri and I'm having my dad drop it off at shop class (Autotech12) so that I can get it ready to roll for December 1st. this time of year is teh sux.

I'll have mine out and about until the roads get salted. Then it's in the garage, sulking until spring!

Yep, me too. Hopefully a couple more months yet. I need to get a fun-to-drive winter beater. I used to have a rust bucket '82 GT that I really bought just for parts and I actually ended up driving it through a couple winters. You should hear the sound that studded snow tires make during a burnout. I'm not sure its cool but definitely different.

Hope the snow comes late this year. It will be a few weeks until the car restoration is complete. All bets are off once that road salt hits.

The capri`s are insured till end of november so when ever the weather is nice and i get time blacky sneaks out from the shop and makes its appearance in town . I want to get red running right before she is parked for the winter too i think its got a hurt valve spring or two . But we will see . The weather here is crazy one day it will be 25 degree C (yestaurday) and today it was around 10 degrees . Can have 6 inches of snow one day and 1 solid day of a chinnook and its dry and nice again .

Does it count if your cars never made it out of storage?
