Since I couldnt get it off the car, I moved the PS cooling line so I could take a pic. Looks weird numbers just stamped all over the place for some reason.

You want this decoded?
If so, I would like more info about the car first. Model year? Exterior and interior colors? Engine, transmission, and rear end size (6.75" or 7.5")? Vinyl or regular roof? Air conditioning? Power doors and or locks? Cruise control? Dual exterior mirrors? Rear defrost? What kind of wheels and wheel covers? Chrome molding around all windows? Twin chrome tips on the tailpipe? Lights under the hood, in the kick panels, in the glove box, and in the trunk? And anything else you can think of......

M

The rest of the numbers that are crooked/sideways/upside down are stamps from assembly line workers as the car was going down the line. Something like their assigned number, which they would stamp to the tag once they did an installation that they were responsible for or to indicate that they did a QC inspection.

Ghia is an Italian design studio that Ford bought in '70. Ford has used the Ghia name on many models since then, including Mustangs from '74 through '81. Ghia models have upgrades over the base two- and three-door models.
In '79, the two-door (notchback/sedan/coupe) Ghia got almost everything the base two-door got extra stuff that was either extra on the base or wasn't available at all. That included equipment such as low-back all-vinyl (leather was optional) bucket seating with European style headrests (base two-door got high back w/o headrests), Luxury carpeting (base got Deluxe), door panels with a Ghia badge, soft inserts, and map pockets, vanity mirror on passenger-side sun visor, grab handle on passenger side, carpeted trunk, extra sound deadening material, Sport steering wheel, Light Group, dual remote control mirrors (base got only left side), Ghia badge on trunk lid, pin strips, polished rocker panel moldings, full wraparound body side moldings (was not standard on base) with dual pinstripe inserts, and 14" radial-ply tires with turbine wheel covers (base got 13" bias-ply tires).
