    I need to update my pics. The intercooler wouldnt fit the aero front end so now I am routing the pipes a little bit differently.

    You can never have too many pics . I am really excited about these little motors .the combination of high performance while keeping decent fuel economy is awesome .

    I have decided to use the stinger ic



    and actually I may go with their 3" exhaust as well .I was wondering with the heat that obviously these are subjected to is it possible to powder coat them ?I was thinking about doing all engine parts in medium canyon red like the cars exterior

    superhigh.... thanks for starting this thread. I've saved all the pics for reference forwhen I start putting the engine back in the GT Turbo. I'll probably be looking for more from everyone here help when I can't figure out where or how some part goes back in!!

    I have every pic saved ,I am really impressed with the response . I think the 2.3T because of gas prices ,and the fact they are just too cool , will be more collectible in the years to come .thanks for all the pics ,they have inspired me

    well heres mine. making progress. i have to pick up a piece of exaust tubing, some water hoses, and a couple of T-fittings. then i have to hook up the water lines, harness, exaust, and find the nuts for the motor mounts. anyone know what size nuts are on 79 4 banger motor mounts?? the driver side is a lot bigger than the passenger side.
    well here it is so far.

    soooo, who can tell me what is needed to convert to mass air? i was about to buy a large VAM to complete my upgrades and i see pics of a MAF sensor. would much rather go that way!

    Its better than stock but not much, I also am going to go with the stinger set-up
