    Default Shelby wheels??

What did these come on? Some special edition? Carrol Shelby was busy with Dodge in the mid '80's. Or are they aftermarket and this guy is just trying to scam on the Shelby name?

I like them alot, but $350 for 2 is to steep for me!

They look like the wheels that came on the dominator mustangs. only these look to be powder coated that gold color. all the dominator wheels i've seen have been silver.

Are you sure? i see they look very similar but was the sunbeam bolt pattern the same as a fox? the seller kept saying they were from our year cars. although he did say something about a black and gold 84 hertz, which doesn't exist.
maybe he knows what they are and at the same time knows he'll have a larger market from mustang guys than sunbeam enthusiasts. a little false advertising maybe?

Carrol Shelby had a run of aftermarket rims in the '80s. I had a 14" set of mesh Shelby wheels on my old '82 GT.

i don't know about false advertising, i just don't think he knows what he's talking about, like he heard of fox body, but never in referance to a mustang, lol.

They're Predator wheels, but the seller is just a bit confused in the description. Those cars can befuddle folks pretty easily.

Good luck finding another 2 wheels , and the center caps. I think they look very good on the early fox's though.

Thats what I going to say. There was never a hertz mustang in the 80's.There just probably just after market wheel with the ford bolt pattern.I don't recall seeing them on a mustang around here and never seeing them in the magizine's on the mustangs.Could be wrong though.

Yes there was an 84 Hertz Mustang Not very well known and extremely limited production but they were made and I own one. Here is a link to a post I made that has some good info about Predator Mustangs and the different versions of them.
