    Default 84 RS Turbo

Update 2022 - You can either scan this thread or watch the progress on a YouTube video that shows the entire resto:
    https://youtu.be/UWTLZkSEgv0
    Either way, enjoy!

I finally picked up my 84 Capri RS Turbo. I bought it from another member here on FEP (http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthread.php?t=37854). Since it's a survivor and basically solid, I'm going to keep it pretty much stock, and just make it a nice driver. Already started re-installing the interior. Enjoy the photos.

And got it into storage until I get some time to work on it

Odd looking wheelie bar set-up you got going there! In all seriousness though, that is a nice car and will make an awesome ride when done.

Sweetness. My next project car will be a Turbo RS or a Mclaren.

    Default Project Update

Haven't had any time to visit FEP recently. But I did get the motor running much better - replaced the valve seals (using my highly sofisticated / home made tool)

Anyway, the engine smoke is basically gone, just need to run out the sour fuel still in the tank. Last night I checked the timing, reset base idle and adjusted the TPS. Car runs really nice.

Links to a few videos (be nice, these are my first I'net videos ever posted)

Now onward to body work and paint. Later - Joe

Looking good Joe. I can't wait to see this car! Were you able to look into the collector car insurance that we were talking about at the last Mustangs Unlimited show?

PS - The SVO re-repaint is going OK. So far so good. Down to the minor details now.

Well, when you figure in the price of the Louie V that I had to barter with my wife, I actually overpaid

I'll bring the PC or the SVO to the MiniReunion. See ya there Rich!
