    Default rebuilt 2.3 carbed turbo

I figured with all of the pace cars around, someone out there has to have either remaned 2.3 carbed turbo's or have someone they highly recommend to rebuild them. I have a shop local here that could possibly do it, but I want to make sure it's done right the first time so I'd almost rather send it off or just get a remanned version. Any ideas?

It doesn't take much to pull them apart and replace seals and bushings. As long as the shaft is in good shape, and the blades haven't been damaged by touching the housings, you really don't need to do too much.

IIRC Turbo City used to sell a rebuild kit with all the seals.

They also list a rebuilt turbo

Ok, ordered the turbo and it came in, looks absolutely killer and can't wait to put it on. I'm going to replace the oil line to the carb, and was curious if anyone knows where I can get one of these....

I guess another good question to ask would be, does anyone know where to get a service manual for these cars? Finding information on these is about impossible.

not sur what kind of oil line you are talking about going to the turbo but http://www.maxpsiracing.com/ makes lines out of stainless hose for the efi setups and will custom make hoses as well might want to try them
