Mike, any pics of the roof mounted luggage rack?? Seems kinda strange, I don't ever remember seeing one. Also, if you bought a stripped 4cyl. does this mean it had drum brakes on the front??? I thought they were all power discs by then.
Yeah, I have a pic of the luggage rack...it's in the accessory books....which are not online.
No idea on the drum brakes. Maybe Ford scrapped them before actual production.

I think manual disks on the base cars were available through 81. Of course the 9" disks don't stop much better than drums.

No Fox Mustang/Capri came with front drums. I don't think any Fox anything ever did. Power brakes was an option early on as said above.
