Wich intake manifold?

Im confused on wich manifold to pick out for my 83 not sure if i need to switch the manifold or not but i usually need to rev to 2k just to get moving. Is this because of the manifold? Im using the edelbrock rpm air gap and i want to swap it out for something with lower rpms. What should i get ? I was thinking a weiand stealth? 8020? what do u guys think?

The intake should be fine. what are ther other mods? carb, cam, rear gears, tire size, eng cond? sounds to me like there could be other problems. was it like this before, if the only mod you have is the intake? rpm is a good intake.
