    Default CFI and o2 sensor question

    are cars with CFI suppose to have o2 sensors? my guess is yes
    2003 Mustang GT 5spd- bolt on's, gears, and cam
    13.504 at 104mph

    In a word, yes. It part of the EFI and engine management system.

    Yep, 1 sensor on the passenger side manifold

    V6 CFI uses two sensors one in each exhuast manifold. The V8 vars use only one, typically in the passenger side manifold - zak
    PS I have had good luck using a heated, internally grounded (4 wire) oxygen esnor in my original 1 wire 85 CFI 5.0 HO car

    ahh ok i noticed on the y pipe on my car a place that is bent over that looked like a o2 sensor might go there like my in my 03 thanks for help its getting awful mileage so it might be bad but im planning on swapping it to carb next month
