I never have thought those cars warranted the high prices, something about them is proportionally off to me. For one, there is too much slope to the panel where the quarter meets the rear bumper, it almost looks like a 93 Cobra valence to me. Not saying they are not well done and well finished though.
Those things are NICE in person...really nice. Friend bought a model from that company, door handles, gear shifters, etc all work! The carpet is "real", working prop rods for the hoods etc.

I don't have one yet (maybe for christmas ) but I do have a GMP 67 Fairlane. It has turned me off buying the cheaper 1:18 models. The freaking windows roll up and down!! I love it, GMP does some nice work. Even the hood hinges look authentic. The price really isn't that bad for it. I'd pay it
I'm very impressed with the GMP model that I got. They do an awesome job on their models. I bought the black 85 GT at a local car indoor car show. I got lucky the guy held it for me and I had to send him a money order the next day. I ended up paying $65 for my model, which I thought was pretty fair.

Actually, the BIN/starting bid is under retail for these cars!! I have taken one red one out of the mix though!! It's already disassembled & stripped down to bare metal. Front end & hatch have already been cut for mods.................
Building my Capri out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If they make a 83 mustang gt I'd buy one then.
you can't save them all. http://members.cardomain.com/dmbryant99
I bought one of these quite a while back. I WAS NOT impressed with the quality for a $100 diecast. There was at least 2 paint chips gone on the side of the hood by the fenders. There was a big hole cut out around the inside rear interior quarter trim. I will never buy another GMP product again.
The only reason I bought it was because of the good reputation of the GMP products. In my opinion it was a glorified (sp) wal-mart product.

I seen a red Twister II when I was visiting friends in Ozark, MO a couple years ago and didn't think anything of it...When I go back in August maybe I'll see if the guy still has it and if he wants to part with it...the car wasn't in too much worse shape than my 85Gt :-D
