Hi Mr Joshua, welcome back. I've read through this thread in the past, but spent the last couple mornings going through it again. This is quite an impressive project and you've done some awesome work. Hope to see your updates soon.

I'll start almost where I left off with the backing plates being primed for a fitment trial.
So, with that done I decided to take the subframe on a trip as the A-Arm mounting holes were certainly not lining up with the new Delrin bushings.
Yes, this is going to be a long drawn out tease, maybe one picture a day till I'm caught up.

Seeing's how I missed a day of posting pictures to bring yall up to date I suppose I should post two today...
Time to get to work!
Let's take some measurements to find out where to start hacking away at!
To the CMM for the datas!!

First thing was to take a couple points with the CMM to verify how far out of alignment the holes were, even though I could tell by eye.
So I had to level it first on the inspection table to take those measurements.
It actually leveled out quite nicely at around .020/.040ish with shims, using 3x2x1 machining blocks and a few 4x4 1/4 wall square tube pieces.
Here's how they looked on the screen. lets just say the numbers we not forgiving, I'd show the comparison with the end result, however it doesn't translate well without the 3 pages of coordinates from the CMM and the software to interpret it..

Decided at that point to work on the brackets a little more and think about the best way to get some progress.
Not too shabby I must say.
I should have known better than a metal fabrication company to have a simple thing like file handles, so I made my own.

So, now to find the lesser of two evils so I'm not filing forever.
This looks a little more manageable.
If anyone else is planning on doing this, DON'T unless you have all the time in the world as this took measurements from 5 different frames to accomplish.
Note: Put the stock bolts in the REAR LOWER CONTROL ARM HOLES WITH THE ARMS IN to make this process easier.
These frames were setup on a factory jig and welded, the tolerance are LOOOOOSE even by factory "standards"....
Pin Gauges & Time help immensely, this took about a solid week of lunches and break times at work to accomplish this.

It's back up!!!! <3
Now to weld up those ovals now that the precision filing is done!
Good ole Sparky!!
Now to put some paint on it, how's my "quality" mask job?!?
All set and ready for the ride home!!!

When last we left our lame horse in the stable she was missing her back legs..
How about we fix that up.
Now to check how well the brackets fit... tight!
Check those plate holes, dimensions, etc...
and send it with no fear!!!!
